That’s not just our opinion. Lynn Kirsch, Director of Human Resources
at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, experienced our system and signed us immediately.
She described our system as “sexy,” because it looks and feels
different than anything else out there. Our system actually interacts with
you to conduct the most graceful and effective recruitment, development and
training initiatives. Here’s how:
- Expertly Designed for the Service Industry
We’re service industry insiders who know your needs intimately. Our
assessment taps the ten core competencies that predict job performance in
the service industry. And our reports are incredible for their level of
specificity and flexibility. They even include Action Plans that show you
how to use the results for recruitment, individual development and succession
planning. Plus, we customize packages to ensure you get a tailored solution
that’s amazingly affordable no matter your budget.
- Unlimited Interpretive Support
As long-standing industry insiders, we know that service businesses
don’t sleep. Neither does ours. Our team is available 24/7 to support
your implementation. This includes unlimited and personal support on interpreting
reports. Our service quality constantly surprises clients, and this makes
us proud. Your implementation will exceed your expectations with us supporting
you at all times.
- State-of-the-Art Psychometrics
Most assessments on the market today focus on personality traits and the
instruments were constructed and validated using methods outdated since
1960. Not us. Our system isn’t old school – it’s next
generation. Morgeson et al. (2007), among other researchers, showed that
personality tests are generally poor predictors of work performance (see:
Personnel Psychology, 60, pp. 683-729). We instead measure skills
and professional attitudes, which are the most robust predictors of performance.
We also use Item Response Theory to ensure superior psychometrics and legal
defensibility. These are the same gold standard statistics used in such
well-known assessments like the GRE, MCAT and LSAT. Instead of treating
questionnaire responses as a set of equally weighted points, these mathematics
produce rigorous models of the competencies, and these models are fair to
all test takers irrespective of their age, gender, level of employment,
industry sector or geography.
Item Response Theory also provides richer, more actionable information than
traditional approaches. Further, we are the world's most published team
in applied Item Response Theory. We have nearly a half a century of applied
research and assessment expertise. No tests and measurement team is more
respected in academic and corporate sectors than our experts.
